Lady Indians Bring Home Gresham Relays Championship

On Thursday, April 16, the Girls Track Team formed an unstoppable force as they brought home the championship trophy from the 34th Annual Gresham Wildcats Relays Meet held this year in Bowler.
  
By winning the 1600 relay, the 3200 relay, the 6400 relay, and both hurdle relays, the Girls from Wega, dominated the seven running events in the twelve event competition. The field event relays also scored some big points, capturing high enough placeings to seal the big victory for the Lady Indians.
Meanwhile, the Boys Team was busy showing what they could do by placing fifth out of eleven schools. All in all, it was a very solid effort by the WFHS track squads.
