presents   the   25th   Annual

Don Chase Cross Country Relays

 

Date:       Thursday, October 8, 2009

Location:       Weyauwega-Fremont High School

Times:          3:45:          Boys & Girls Junior High Race. 3200 Meters.

                          4:15:          Girls Division “A” Varsity Runners. AND  Girls Junior Varsity Race. This should include the 5th through the 8th varsity runners on each team. This race will also include the girls JV race. All JV girls need to wear a Colored JV tag. 4000 Meters.

                          4:45:          Girl’s Division “AA” Varsity Runners. This should be the top FOUR varsity runners for each of the schools entered. 4000 Meters.

                          5:15:          Boy’s Division “A” Varsity Runners. AND  Boys Junior Varsity Race. This should include the 5th through the 8th varsity runners on each team. This race will also include the boys JV race. All JV boys need to wear a Colored JV tag 5000 Meters.

                          5:45:          Boy’s Division “AA” Varsity Runners. This should be the top FOUR varsity runners for each of the schools entered. 5000 Meters.

 

       6:20            W-F Parent’s Night Introductions.

 

            6:40:            Awards Ceremony Near the Announcers Tower    (We hope)

 

Remember, we will be running the boys junior varsity race last on the program. Second, we will allow you to enter EIGHT (8) varsity runners . You will be able to run 4 “AA” and 4 “A” runners. You can still choose to run your kids where you feel they will have the best opportunity to compete successfully.

 

Major Change in Boys Junior Varsity Race: Run with “A” Runners

 

Awards:         Boy’s & Girls Team Awards

 

                 1.        Junior High Team Champion Trophies based on the five best places.

                 2.        Junior Varsity Team Champion Trophies based on the five best places.

                 3.        Varsity Championship Trophies based on the total of the five fastest times taken from either varsity race.

                 4.        Varsity 2nd Place Trophies based on the total of the five fastest times taken from either varsity race.

 

Awards:         Boy’s & Girls Individual   Awards

 

            1.            Junior High Medals to the first Twenty (20) boys and first Twenty (20) girls to finish. Medals will be handed out at the end of the chute. 

            2.            Junior Varsity Medals to the first Twenty-Five (25) boys and first Twenty-Five (25) girls to finish. Medals will be handed out at the end of the chute.

            4.            Varsity Medals will be awarded to the first THIRTY (30) finishers in each of the four varsity races. All individual awards will be handed out at the end of the chute.

Entry Fee:    $80.00 will get you into any and all events. There is no reduction if you have no junior high or JV runners. There is no extra charge for having 200 hundred junior high runners. For schools that are middle school only, the cost is forty dollars.
